I have made this pendant carefully piercing out a hare and stars, creating a frame and soldering the pieces into place, making a setting for a beautiful dendritic opal and labradorite. Hand engraved and hammer textured with an oxidised finish.

Please note there is a little bit of light reflection on the top of the dendritic opal - this is from my light box, but this is a beautiful stone in natural light.

Measuring approx 30mm x 23mm and hallmarked by Sheffield Assay Office.

This pendant comes with an 18" sterling silver chain - please contact me if you would prefer a different length chain (a longer length may incur a slight extra charge).

Dendritic opals are one of my favourite stones, created by nature and each one unique, they embrace the beauty of winter. I have used this one to create a little picture with a hare gazing up into a moonlit starry sky.
