The Robin is such a traditional Christmas character and this die was so cute but I wanted to add a bit more colour, so rather than using the traditional reds and greens, I have used blues and a pinky red colour for these cards. After embossing the wreath image onto the card mat it just cried out for me to gently rub over with sandpaper to give it a distressed look and expose the white core of the card. I then felt the debossed card needed something extra so added the white gel pen to the berries to get them to stand out.

Full description
A set of two 10 cm x 15 cm handmade cards using a cute robin die set with embellishments and an embossing folder. Dies were cut from white card stock and hand coloured using alcohol ink pens. The inserts are a delicately patterned heavy paper left blank for your own greeting. The embossed card has been slightly distressed exposing the white core and the de-bossed card has had white pen added to accentuate the berries.
