Anything and everything

As far back as I can remember I have always been crafty. Card making, scrapbooking, cross stitch, embroidery, felt ornaments, encaustic art, needle felting, sewing, knitting, crochet, jewelry making, polymer clay art, miniatures, up cycling items to give them a new life, model making and I am sure there are some I've forgotten. I enjoy making people smile when they receive my creations as gifts. Before I started a family I worked as a Veterinary nurse and after our first child I became involved with the local Pre-school. Now after nearly 18 years of working with children I have decided to have a break and concentrate on me for a while. We don't have any furry pets and are non-smokers. My workspace tends to be the dining table. I do dream of converting one of the bedrooms into a craft room but I'll have to wait for one of the children to leave home first!
