Copper lotus tealight holder

Copper lotus tealight holder

Love this

5 point lotus tealight holder made from copper. To make this tealight holder, I cut a lotus shape out of 0.5mm copper sheet and then shape it into a bowl, curving the tips upwards. I've polished the tealight holder then finished it with copper lacquer and renaissance wax to help to protect it. The tealight holder is not perfect because I cut and shape the copper by hand so there will be marks from cutting and shaping, but it will be unique. Although the tealight holder has a coating of protection, it may slowly age, especially in a damp/humid environment, to an old/antique copper colour. This listing is for the tealight holder only, no tealights, but it does hold the normal, standard size ones.

It's about 4cm/2" high and 10cm/4" diameter

Copper is the UK 9th/USA 7th wedding anniversary I believe.

Thank you for looking at my listing

I made a star into a tealight holder, but once it was made I thought that with rounding the points of the star, it would make a lotus shape.
