These little paintings where inspired by the many feathered visitors we have in our beautiful garden in the Scottish Borders.

Full description
This is a set of 2 Original Miniature Chaffinch Bird Oil Paintings. The common chaffinch is a regular visitor to our garden and we often see the male perched on a branch singing away trying to attract a mate. It has a brightly coloured blue/grey cap and rust-red underpart which I have painted against a black background.
They measure approximately 4" x 4" x .25" (101.6mm x 101.6mm x 6.35mm) each and are ready to hang or can stand on a little easel.
