These stud earrings combine carefully etched sustainable walnut wood with reclaimed brushed copper and sterling silver backings. Handmade in the UK these modern earrings make a perfect gift for a 5th (wood) or 7th (copper) wedding anniversary.
Crafted with consideration, all my pieces are handmade with love in my home studio. I take great care in finding materials that minimise my impact on the environment and in making my processes as eco friendly as possible.
The natural grain from the wood adds a beautiful element of contrast against the brushed metal finish. A modern & timeless design, these earrings are also available in brushed steel or brushed brass - please see my other listings.
Earring size: 8mm round. Each piece will be presented in a handmade designer box made from 100% recycled paper.
- Materials-
Reclaimed brushed copper, sustainable walnut wood with sterling silver earring posts and butterflies. As walnut wood is a beautiful, natural product, the colour and grain will vary, ensuring each product is totally unique - all wood is FSC certified. My silver is sourced from a UK supplier who requires all their suppliers to sign up to an ethical declaration regarding human rights, minimum working age, etc and have been audited by SEDEX, an independent organisation that monitors suppliers ethical performance. The copper, brass, and steel inlays are sourced from industrial surplus to the interior design industry and are cut in the UK.
