Full description
A lovely soft and lightweight grey merino wool scarf with a striking red silk poppy design. This scarf has been felted using fine layers of natural grey merino wool fibres with the poppy design added prior to felting using silk fibres. During the felting process the wool fibres "grab" the silk fibres and hold them in place. The silk fibres create a slightly textured effect to the poppies. There are three large poppies at each end of the scarf on one side with the reverse of the scarf is left plain.
This scarf is super soft and lightweight and drapes beautifully. It is a long scarf, measuring approximately 172cm x 31cm (68" x 12"), long enough to wrap around the neck for extra warmth or tie in many ways.
An ideal 7th anniversary gift when wool is traditionally the gift of choice, or for any other occasion.
The scarf will arrive wrapped in floral tissue paper with information about the felting process and full washing instructions.
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
