I generally use an outreach Royal mail postal service at the moment which is available on a Wednesday and Friday. Items to Europe, USA and the Rest of the World are sent Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL STANDARD which does not include tracking in the cost.
I spent time working on this piece during the long hotter hours of the summer and wanted to reflect that in the bright and joyful colours I used - plus I'd been spending a fair amount of time by or in the river near home. It has a bright, folk art and strongly contrasting flavour which differs a bit from my usual work but reflects my state of mind at the time.
