I wanted to give more variety when it comes to dolls and ornaments, everything that I see on the High Street or online is blonde with light skin, and I wanted young girls to feel represented and to have a decoration that reflects them and their culture.
This ballerina would be perfect for a Christmas tree decoration, or hung up on a young child's bedroom wall, especially for one obsessed with ballet!

"Finding ballet was like finding the missing part of myself" - Misty Copeland
This gorgeous ballet dancer is around 6 inches tall, with dark brown hair, which has been plaited and styled into a crown around her head, topped off with a pink glittery paper flower. Her mid sleeve leotard and ballet shoes are made from DMC Mouliné Etoile, which is an embroidery thread with glittery strands running through it, to give her an extra little bit of sparkle!
She has a full ballet skirt made from light and dark pink artificial flowers, and a friendly hand drawn face. She is made from floral wire coated in embroidery thread, so she is fully poseable and very bendy! She can either be hung from a Christmas tree or a bedroom wall using the cord attached to the top of her head, or it can be easily removed and she can be bent to sit on flat surfaces.
Please note, this product is designed to be used as a decoration, it is not a toy.
