Harris Tweed is a very special fabric. It is the world’s only commercially produced hand-woven tweed.
The Harris Tweed Orb symbol certifies the cloth is genuine Harris Tweed: "Hand-woven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."

Full description
I have made this gorgeous lampshade from the world renowned Harris Tweed hand-woven wool fabric in a brick red and turquoise green design. The shade is a large simple drum shape, 30cm diameter, and 20cm tall.
Inside is a lovely golden-coloured fire-retardant pvc, which gives a gorgeous glow to the light above and below the shade.
To protect your shade on it's journey it will be packed in a cardboard box and padded with eco-friendly biodegradable starch puffs.(Please note, this is the shade only - lamp base and other props are for photographic use only and not included.)
Yes I can make this style of lamp shade in other colours. This shade has been made with the fitting at the bottom for a table lamp, but I can also make it with the fitting at the top for a ceiling light - just contact me.
