An original watercolour painting of Honesty Seed heads, this is a simple card for any occasion, it has been left blank for your own message, perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, retirement or just to show someone you care.
It has the added addition of a packet of Honesty Seeds from my own plants to plant in the garden or scatter in the hedgerows.
This is an original painting, not a print. This tiny art can be framed and displayed in a frame.
Sow seeds early in the season, and cover lightly with soil. They germinate easily and will grow large green leaves in the first year. Select a location in your garden where they can grow undisturbed for years and years. After blooming you can collect seeds or wait till they drop, they will regenerate year after year.
Common honesty is an old-fashioned dual-purpose plant, grown partly for its fragrant bright flowers in spring and early summer, but also for its unique seed-heads, oval and translucent, gleaming with an eerie silver light and coveted by dried-flower arrangers.
Also known as Moon Shaped and Silver Dollar.
Card size is 12.5cm x 17.5cm - 5 x 7 inches
Comes with a white envelope and a packet of seeds.
I have 3 of these available in different colours, Plum (listed), Blue and Orange I will be listing the other two soon. Any questions then just message me via the contact button. Thank you.
