We draw the design onto the ceramic tiles and then hand paint with ceramic glaze.
Once the design is finished, we fire it in the kiln for 9 hours to 1000 degrees C to produce an extremely durable finish.
The glaze is now permanently fused with the ceramic tiles and is waterproof, stainproof and heatproof. They will not fade or peel.

Each order comes with our own " How to fit a tile mural " worksheet.
Also the tiles are numbered on the back, so its easy to assemble the finished mural.

Full description

This is hand painted ceramic tile mural, Kiln fired.

An original one off design, featuring multiple brightly coloured Koi Carp.

Size 60cm H x 50cm W x 0.5cm D

Our backsplash tiles can be used as accent tiles, kitchen splashbacks, for sinks, showers, fireplaces, countertops and retail projects.

In Japanese culture, the koi carp is a highly respected and very symbolic fish that is closely tied to the country's national identity. The koi carp is thought to be a symbol of luck, prosperity, and good fortune within Japan. The name “koi” itself is Japanese and simply means “carp” in the Japanese language.
