Part of my Dive for Freedom collection to remind and inspire us that we decide our own destiny.
These divers were inspired by the story of Yusara Mardini and her sister who swam the Mediterranean sea pushing a small boat of 20 refugee's, they were also passengers on the boat. The engine failed after 30 minutes into the journey; realising they weren't going to make it across the sisters and 2 other passengers pushed the boat for 3 hours to shore saving everyones life on board.

Dive for Freedom Handmade Silver earrings - Unusual Handcrafted Sterling silver figurative earrings featuring a stylised female diver form, she hangs and sways from sterling silver ear wires that I have formed to a spiral shape.
Each diver is hand cut from silver sheet with my jewellers piercing saw and measures approximately 3 cm by 3 cm. These earrings are one of a kind, unusual statement pieces that will not be repeated in the same design.
