This little angel was born from intuition and the rhythm and flow of making, for a time she rested on my bench until I found a wing design that flowed and matched her energy.
It is impossible to measure the hours she carries; she sifted and transformed many times before finding her form.
I knew from the beginning that she would be an angel.
I annealed and twisted some long lengths of copper wire without a plan following the moment of flow. At times she asked too much and I had to set her aside to return when her presence became irrisistible.

Full description
Handmade with intention and warmth, this copper angel carries the quiet glow of winter’s stillness and the protective spirit of the season. Her wings spiral outward like blessings unfurling, while the twisted body and faceted bead head evoke movement, light, and presence.
This a unique design that will not be repeated, it is a strong and sturdy decoration that will stand the test of time.
A golden ribbon is attached at the top of her head to hang her on a tree beam, or sacred space. Whether offered as a talisman of peace or placed on an altar as a symbol of guidance, she holds space for reflection, hope and the unseen threads that connect us. A soulful companion for Yuletide rituals, solstice honouring, or simply the beauty of being.
She measures 8cm by 6.5cm at the widest point.
