Full description
A whimsical box frame design that pays homage to “The Good Life” 70’s tv series. I have used various different techniques to achieve this tiny garden, with a base linen background I have freemotion embroidered sweet pea canes and appliquéd a pretty gingham beehive. Margo and Jerry chicks have been made using teeny pieces of 70’s pattern fabric and felt. Margo has a Mary Quant style daisy flower wing, Jerry has a check wing. Hand embroidered bees and bunting give a summery feeling not to mention the special sunshine painted in a nod to the opening credits of the tv programme.
