Full description
Wet felted using red woollen fibres sandwiching a layer of white wool this bowl has been cut open in a star formation at the top. It has been decorated with wool and silk fibres in various colours added to the surface prior to felting. The bowl has been felted over a resist material to produce a seamless vessel and has been shaped during the latter stages of felting.
The bowl measures approximately 17cm (6.75") in diameter (max) and stands approximately 10cm (4") high.
This bowl can be used as a decorative item or can be put to use around the home. Possible uses include key/change bowl, storage of craft items, general storage for small items that have no home, pot pourri, jewellery .... the list is endless. A lovely gift for any occasion.
