Full description
This cute little pendant features an 8mm round Snowflake Obsidian bead - a pretty black stone with white / grey mottling. I created a teardrop shape with thick copper wire as a frame, & then wove finer wire within it to loop around the bead, finishing with a hammered curve. This pendant is one of a kind - it's small & understated whilst still being interesting & unique.
The finished piece has been oxidised to bring out the detail in the weave & I have then polished it - giving a gorgeous antiqued copper colour which complements the black & grey stone perfectly.
The pendant comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
The pendant itself measures just over 2.5cm long from top of bail & just under 1.5cm across. It will be posted out first class, in a 100% recycled (& reusable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
