Full description

This purchase is for one hanging glass coal-tit suspended on a length of strong nylon string. This is a made to order item so please allow up to seven days before posting. Please email me if it is urgent as I may be able to help you.

As I make these by hand, each tit will vary slightly to the accompanying images. These images are just examples to give you an idea of the slight variations. Each bird is roughly 7cm by 4cm.

Price includes 1st Class Large letter postage and packaging.

This little bird would look beautiful hung in a window or suspended from the ceiling in the corner of a room, or even up against a wall. It is sunlight and water resistant, perfect for the window, conservatory, bathroom, kitchen or even outside in a wind sheltered position.

Kiln forming is a process where glass is layered and then heated in a kiln to a temperature where the glass melts and the layers fuse together. I use glass sheet and glass powder to make my birds. They have been digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety in my studio in Bristol.
