Part of my "Of the Sea" series. I find it really pleasing to paint in a circle, and as I was feeling inspired by the sea, I wanted to wrap this seaweed in to a circle. I have had comments that it's created something quite interesting. I wasn't sure where I was going with it when I started.....but love the finished article. Bladderwrack can be found all along the West Coast here.
