Full description

This listing is for one made to order glass bird which is roughly 18cm x 7cm.

You will receive a bird similar in style and design to the example bird in the foreground of the photograph. It has a yellow flower design on its tummy, purple tail and small green dot embellishments.

This is a made to order item so allow up to seven days before posting. If it is urgent please email me as I may be able to help you.

You can choose your colour preferences. There are four choices of three colour combinations, please go to the "Choose Options" tab to select, otherwise I can surprise you.

If you don't make a request I will assume you are happy with the colour combination in the image.

This bird would look beautiful hung in a window or suspended from the ceiling in the corner of a room, or even up against a light wall. It is sunlight and water resistant, perfect for the window, conservatory, bathroom or even outside in a wind sheltered position.

Kiln forming is a process where glass sheets are cut into the required shape, layered up and then heated up in a kiln to a temperature where the glass melts and the layers fuse together. I use glass sheet and glass powder to make my birds. They have been digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety in my home studio in Bristol.
