I generally use an outreach Royal mail postal service at the moment which is available on a Wednesday and Friday. Items to Europe, USA and the Rest of the World are sent Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL STANDARD which does not include tracking in the cost.
I've always found the barn owl such a beautiful bird - one I'm always hoping to see but rarely do. I wanted to explore the design of the out stretched wing and feathers in embroidery. The night sky is in contrast to the creamy white wings and has a stormy feel to it. I used quite a lot of paper in this collage background which was then over-stitched with free-motion machine embroidery.

A detailed print of my original embroidery collage of a Barn Owl in the moonlight. Printed on textured fresco soft white card which brings out the raised quality and texture of the original image. Mounted with acid free off-white mount card.
