Full description
Fifteen, one-of-a-kind textile brooches, featuring hand stitch, words, and/or vintage buttons or charms or motifs. All of the brooches you will receive are shown in photographs 2 and 3. The other photos show close-ups of some of the brooches.
They would make great 'party bag' items or small gifts for older girls or women - hen parties, bridesmaid 'thank you' gifts, etc.
This is a sale listing: these pieces originally retailed at £8.99 each.
These hand sewn pieces of fabric jewellery are made to wear on your clothing, or on a bag, or may be hung in your room. It will give you a reminder, or a wish to aspire to, or to meditate on.
The brooches are suspended from safety pins (some are new, some are re-purposed) and will come attached to a 100% recycled kraft card.
The brooches (excluding the pins and hanging loops) vary in measurements, approx:-
3.3 - 5.2 cm wide x 5.2 - 8 cm long
1 1/4" - 2 1/16" wide x 2 1/16" - 3 1/8" long

The four brooches with red and dark blue fabrics are made from antique kimono fabric. The fabric will release dye when wet, so please keep those brooches dry and I recommend only wearing/displaying them on dark backgrounds. They have a reminder sticker on the reverse.
Please note that these pieces will not be suitable for young children due to the pin and small embellishments.
Only one set of 15 brooches is available.
