Full description
A quirky Russian dolls stacking bag gift set consisting of a toiletry bag, make up bag and coin purse. Each bag features a traditional Matryoshka doll appliqué, and they all stack inside each other, just like Russian dolls. The bags are made from lemon yellow fabric and have yellow zips. The Russian dolls are made from white fabric with sprays of blue flowers, and turquoise fabric with white polka dots. They have brown felt hair and black sequin eyes. Their faces are made from pale peach coloured felt on which I’ve lovingly hand-embroidered mouths and rosy cheeks. The largest doll has a wooden blue flower button in her hair. The bags have turquoise water-resistant linings.
These stacking Russian doll bags are decorative as well as practical. I loved the idea of opening a Russian doll toiletry bag to find a make up bag inside with a purse inside that. The set would make a lovely and unusual gift, particularly for anyone who loves Matryoshka dolls.
Each bag or purse is spacious and has a boxed base to give plenty of storage room inside. The approximate measurements are:
Toiletry bag: 12 inches (30cm) wide, 9 inches (23cm) high, 4 inches (10cm) across the base
Make up bag: 11 inches (28cm) wide x 6 inches (15cm) high x 2 inches (5cm) across the base
Coin purse: 6.5 inches (16.5cm) wide x 4 inches (10cm) high x 1 inch (2.5cm) across the base
