Two little donkeys - newspaper yarn

Two little donkeys - newspaper yarn
Love this

Description

Donkeys form very strong friendship and mating bonds with each other. And these two friends have been made from two different language newspapers, English and Tamil newspapers have been used.

The paper has been cut into strips and painstakingly twisted and rolled into yarn by hand.

The yarn has then been used to create the little donkeys. They are framed by twisting vines and 'leaves' made from the same paper.

In amongst the newspaper, we can just make out the word "love" in pink letters on one of the leaves! See photo 4.

The piece is framed in an unpolished pine 20cm square box frame.
