i was asked to make some embroidered narwhal's for Leapup's "Under The Sea" folksy animation. these zombie narwhals are related to the stars in the movie ;)

applique, free motion & hand embroidered zombie narwhal - purple.
this festering, barnacle-encrusted zombie narwhal measures (approximately. it’s hard to say) 30cm (11.5”) from the tip of his horn end of his tail flipper thing.
his body width is 4cm (1.5”), excluding hand flippers.
narwhal is made from mottled corpse-grey hand dyed cotton calico. he has a purple heart on his back, and has been embellished with hand embroidered french & bullion knots in purple, lilac and green embroidery silks.
his flippers are made from hand felted wool, and his horn is embroidered linen.
details are drawn on with free machine embroidery.
his eyeballs are hand embroidered.
the narwhals are made entirely on a domestic sewing machine, everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me.
they’re made from heavy weight calico, stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852), and finished by hand.
this listing is for one zombie narwhal.
due to very nature of handmade, hand dyed & free hand embroidery, each zombie will vary eeever so slightly.
