Heading off to a music festival with my wheel and little display I wanted to have something on my stall that really caught the eye.
I have always loved burning a little incense but the ash tends to go everywhere when it's finished.
So combing these two things the design for my ceramic incense burner was born.
I hope that you like it as much as the visitors I had at the festival did.

Ceramic Incense Burner
A pebble in a pool.
This incense burner has been designed to look beautiful and be practical.
As the incense burns, whether an incense stick or cone the ash will be collected neatly. It can then be easily rinsed off and the dish remains lovely.
I threw some stoneware clay on the wheel to form a small dish and then formed a little pebble to hold the incense stick firmly and safely.
The dish was then bisque fired and then refired to stoneware with glass and oxides to form the pool.
It measures 8cm across and 2cm tall.
The one in the photo is the one that you would recieve.
