A small piece of sea coal seemed the perfect base for a little ringed plover!

Full description
I have hand carved this little ringed plover and then painted it with artists acrylics and finished it with wax to give a soft shine. It has black glass eyes and is mounted on a piece of sea coal found on a local beach.
It is 14cm from beak to tail, 9cm tall and 7cm deep overall.
It would make a lovely present for any bird lover.
