I came up with these earrings when thinking about how to incorporate semiprecious beads into my beadweaving. I love how they turned out! I’ve tried to use the seed beads to emphasise their globular shape and enhance each stone I’ve used. I love the gothic vibe this particular pair has- although people often tell me they remind them of blackberries!

Full description
These gloriously gothic earrings have been made featuring dyed fuchsia pink agate beads in two sizes as their centrepiece. I have embellished them using quality Japanese seed beads in a beadwoven netting in shiny black and dark pink colours but allowed the semiprecious beads to remain visible. Teamed with fabulous Swarovski crystals, they are finished using Sterling Silver findings.
Total earring length is approximately c.35mm. Total earring width is approximately 14mm wide, using 6mm and 4mm dyed pink fuchsia agate beads in their construction.
These earrings have not been hallmarked as the silver used falls under the legal exemption weight; however, each ear wire carries a ‘925’ stamp.
