Sometimes my ideas start with the yarn, sometimes it's a pattern, but this one started with a yearning to knit something chunky, cosy and colourful!
Having seen all the chunky knits everywhere recently, I wanted to create my own hand-knitted chunky cushion in one of my favourite colour combinations: purple and grey. I thought it could be fun to make the cushion reversible too, with one stripy side and one basket weave with beautiful big buttons, so you can turn it over when the mood takes you. Twice the gorgeousness!

With a nod to the trend for comfort and jewel tones, this chunky hand knit cushion will add warmth and texture to your home.
The cushion cover is hand-knitted in purple diagonal stripes with rows of blue, grey and turquoise between. On the opposite side, rich purple yarn in a tactile basket weave pattern contrasts perfectly with three colourful floral wooden buttons, fastened with bright pink cotton.
Ideal for anyone who loves to play with colour and texture, this chunky cushion makes the perfect home accessory for a stylish and comfortable corner.
You can buy the cover on its own or, for a small extra cost, you can add a cushion pad to your order.
I'll get everything packed up and posted to you as quickly as I can but please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery outside of the UK.

Care: cool hand wash and lay flat to dry.
