Welcome to my online Folksy shop and thank you for popping by.
USA CUSTOMERS - The shipping prices in my shop now include the new UK/USA shipping tariff & postal delivery duties paid.
Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) is a service whereby duties are handled by Royal Mail and the overseas delivery partner so that the recipient does not incur any additional cost at the doorstep. Instead, VAT and duties are calculated and collected at the point of sale and paid to the relevant tax authorities locally via Royal Mail.
If I overcharge on postage I will refund the excess.
Due to new regulations sadly I can no longer post to Europe or NI.
Thank you, Debby
Doll making is something I have always loved but when I started bear making the dolls got left behind. Finally I have started making them again and Priscilla is my first art doll in a few years. I wanted to create something different and unique, not quite a fairy, not quite an elf but somewhere inbetween.

Meet 'Priscilla 'my Elf Fairy and nicknamed Miracle as I never thought I would complete her but succeeded eventually after overcoming one or two stumbling blocks along the way.
She is hand sewn from doll velour in pale pink and is approx 11" tall with fine galvanised wire to her legs and arms so she can sit with bent knees.
Her bodice and leggings were made from a stretch fabric in blue.
She has a hand dyed silk noil skirt in blues and greys which has been machine sewn to seams and is hooked up to the front and fastened with beads.
Chiffon over black satin to the top of her dress/skirt and finished with a few beads.
Her wings have been triple hand sewn and are made from grey satin fabric with crystal organza overlay and hand decorated with beads, the veins were machine sewn.
Her hair was made from 40mm steiff wispy mohair which has a lovely silk feel, beige with raspberry ripple feature.
She has little elf boots in navy blue felt finished with a silver bell.
Her face was hand painted with acrylic paints, quite a difficult task on textured fabric so I was very pleased when it went as planned.
Priscilla 'Miracle' is a collectable doll and not suitable for children.
