Full description
This lovely wood carving of a lapwing has been hand made and painted with artists acrylics. Although the upper body looks dark I have tried to capture the different colour tones in the plumage and it has been finished with wax giving a soft shine. It has hand tinted glass eyes and split tail detail and is mounted on a piece of driftwood. The piece is 30cm tall, 22cm wide and 9.5cm deep max. overall. (SN232)
