I love my scalloped shape flower and wanted to design a tulip version - I simplified the shape right down and added a pretty touch of Liberty fabric for extra interest.

A bright felt tulip would make a perfect alternative to a birthday card, especially for someone born in spring!
This lovely felt tulip in two shades of pink wool felt has some pretty printed Liberty Lawn fabric added for extra detail, and it's stitched with coordinating thread. It's made from wood and bamboo painted in a bright pea green, then I've made some green leaves from green wool felt with stitched detail. Pop it in a bottle or small vase on the mantlepiece or give it to a friend alongside some real flowers for a special present.
The flower measures approx 4 cm across (1.5 inches) then the leaves are about 5 cm (1.5 inches) at their widest point, and the whole flower is approx 22cm (9 inches) tall.
I will post this first class but please note delivery times do vary at the moment due to the current situation. Leave me a note when you checkout if you’d like it sending to someone else - I’ll gladly do so and write a note too.
