The name 'Viking Knit' is a bit misleading as this technique isn't actually knitting at all! It involves forming a long chain by looping wire around a dowel. The dowel is removed & the chain then pulled through a series of progressively smaller holes in a tool called a draw plate, producing the finished chain.
This technique is so versatile - I can make them in up to three colours, &/or with beads - if you don't see your size or favourite colours in stock please just drop me a message so I can make one perfect for you :)
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

SALE - 20% off, was £16.25
This pretty bracelet has been made with silver plated copper wire using the viking knit technique. I've added amethyst coloured glass seed beads along the length of the chain.
I've finished it off with handmade end caps in silver coloured wire, & a silver coloured magnetic clasp to make it super easy to put on! The wire used is copper plated with sterling silver - it should retain it's bright shine, but if it does require a clean then please just use soapy water & a soft brush, rather than a chemical jewellery cleaner, which could remove the plate / colour.
The single knit method produces an open, looser chain with quite a bit of movement to it compared to the double knit bracelets.
The bracelet measures 8mm wide, & is 19cm long. It will be posted out first class, wrapped in tissue paper in an organza bag, within a recycled polythene bag.
Note: magnetic clasps should not be worn by people with pacemakers - of you'd like me to swap it for a lobster clasp please just let me know!
