I found the skirt on the 99p rail of a charity shop and wanted to give it a new lease of life.
The skirt was full length and frumpy, it had bleach marks at the top and bottom.
I cut away the original waistband and added a new elasticated one with a removable rose brooch.
I added lace trim at the bottom and handstitched crochet flowers over a small bleach mark at the hem.
The little skirt is ready to find a new life away from bargin rails.
