I have always had a love of gemstones, and when this item was discovered lying on a beach, I just knew it could be polished and brought to a beautiful state, perfect for people like me, who love organic items.

Wave, a large polished Dendritic Agate paperweight, Collectable or decorative display item, was originally a rough stone found on the beach, and it has been polished to a high gloss, over various cycles and many, many hours, to create this very tactile decorative item.
Beautiful and natural, polished opalescent Amber, grey and black Dendritic Agate, with clearer and more opaque areas, beautiful from every angle.
Roughly elongated flattened oval in shape measuring approx 58mms by 88mms at its widest points and approx 13mms in depth, as the stone is free form, measurements vary throughout.
As this is a natural stone, there are occlusions and natural fissures within the Dendritic Agate, some areas less polished than others, but this all adds to the natural beauty of the piece.
This is an item of a little weight, so will make a fantastic paperwieght, Collectable or decorative desk ornament. Or as a photography prop. Especially for those who love gemstones and organic items. Wonderfully cool to the touch.
In its natural unpolished state, this stone was a dull and chalky looking item, but when made wet, showed the promise of inner beauty. With various polishing cycles, it has come up to a high gloss finish, with fisures, inner facets and patches that show the unpolished state, but overall the item glows with the inner light that Dendritic Agate is know and loved for.
