We have a very inquisitive Robin that lives in our wood shed, who always keeps us company whenever there's gardening to be done.
And if he can't be seen, then the musical song can be heard from up in the birch tree that seems to be the favourite watch point. Everyone needs a Robin!

Hand embroidered picture of a Robin.
Robin - the Nation's favourite! And definitely one of ours too, our cheeky little robin is always keeping an eye on us and whatever activity there is in the garden.
This little homage to our friend is hand stitched using strands of embroidery thread and stitches of various lengths and colours. No sewing machine in sight! It's a time consuming method, but it does show lots of detail.
The stitched piece is about 3x 3cms and the finished item is approx 10 x 10cms, ready to hang. It's framed behind glass in a natural oak frame.
I photographed it in natural light without the glass for accuracy and clarity, but I'm sure you know that screens and monitors do vary.
