Framed crochet seascape, Bradwell-on-Sea ii

Framed crochet seascape, Bradwell-on-Sea ii
Love this

A piece of driftwood found on the beach at Bradwell-on-sea has been whittled into a crochet hook, then used to create a textile description of light on the water. The piece remains on the hook, and is therefore unique.
The seascape is sewn onto acid free paper with the hook acting as a hanging rod, signed and framed. The frame is a box frame made from wood and stained grey. I have chosen to use acrylic rather than glass in the frame to lessen the weight and likelihood of damage when posting. Acrylic scratches more easily than glass and therefore I recommend using a dry soft cloth for gentle dusting.
Frame size: 43cm x 43cm x 3cm deep

This small scrap of driftwood - merely two inches long, was one of only two pieces I found on a visit to Bradwell-on-Sea. As the day faded the sun turned the sea a peachy silver, a sliver of which this hook was able to describe.
