Inspired by my walks and adventures in the UK's countryside and along its seaside, and with a desire to reduce my footprint on the planet, I upcycle found pottery shards, sea glass and scoria glass, into keepsake jewellery to ground you in connection to its story.... to a person, a place, a memory. When you purchase Unearthed Jewellery, you also receive the story that has been uncovered....where your shard was unearthed, and more. I am registered with the Edinburgh Assay office and a Gold Member of the British Guild of Jewellery Designers. All Unearthed jewellery is signed with a .925 fineness mark and UBL makers mark.

Your Own Shard of History:
Inspired by the UK's Industrial Heritage with a desire to create sustainable fashion, discarded man-made materials, such as pottery shards, sea glass and industrial scoria, are featured in my jewellery to re-tell the stories of past craftsmen. Unearthed by Lynn intends to ground you in connection.... to a person, a place or a memory. When you purchase a piece of Unearthed Jewellery, you also receive the provenance that has been uncovered....where it was unearthed, what it was from, and more.
Your jewellery will be sent to you in a cotton pouch, along with its story, inside a box made from recycled materials, then wrapped in brown postal paper.

Full description
Pottery: Connecting you to the land and history from where it came, the pottery shard featured in this necklace was discovered along the public footpaths of Eccleshall. The blue and white shard features a pheasant and comes from the Asiatic Pheasant pattern, which was produced by many factories. Most often, the shards of Asiatic Pheasant found in Eccleshall with a maker's mark, have been PW & Co. G. Podmore.
Stone: A faceted aqua chalcedony gemstone connects the shard to the necklace, with an additional drop to finish off the extender - perfect to dangle down your back.
Chain: This sterling silver necklace was made to last. The soldering in this necklace provide you with a strong necklace that isn't going to break from a slight tug. Including the extender, the necklace measures about 20 inches long.
