A beautiful Green and Green / Purple check HARRIS TWEED hand/shoulder bag. This is 'The Townson Tote' designed by myself so exclusive to Hare and Boathouse Creations It is a very spacious bag with a flap for closure. Having the check Harris Tweed on the outer and black leatherette underneath, the flap secures by a silver coloured magnetic snap. I have sewn a hand made wooden button on for decoration. The straps are of the same leatherette and are short enough to carry the bag by hand but equally long enough to wear comfortably on your shoulder. For the lining I have used cotton that has a dainty flower print in colours that coordinate beautifully with the Tweed. There is a generous zipped pocket inside for valuables and has a 'Hare' charm on the zipper pull. You can see I have sewn the HARRIS TWEED orb label on to the front of the bag, this is your guarantee of genuine 'Harris Tweed' cloth. The size is approx - 31cm wide (widest point) x 27cm high x 6cm base It is fully interfaced and stabilised for sturdiness and as all of my items, has been sewn on my industrial sewing machine using very strong thread for strength. All of my bags will be wrapped in tissue and placed in a lidded box. Perfect to keep them safe in storage in the times it may not be used, if there ever would be a time!!!!
