G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

I like to experiment with different wooden shapes and using embossing enamel. I really liked the shape of these country style hearts!

Full description
Treat yourself to these lovely wooden heart shaped earrings. Created by adding layers of embossing enamel (or UTEE) onto a birch plywood heart shape, it measures approximately just over 2cm long by approximately 1.5cm wide, with a depth of about 3mm.
For these earrings, I've used an embossing enamel called Red Carnelian - It has an orange/red base, with black and tan, gold, silver and pale pink touches - that gives it a speckled appearance.
I have hand painted the back of the earrings with red acrylic paint and a coat of an iridescent pink artists acrylic paint from Pebeo. I’ve also added and glued surgical steel earring posts, with matching surgical steel scroll backs. The posts are situated centrally in the upper middle of the heart shape.
The heart earrings make a nice statement, are comfortable and lightweight but sturdy and will come to you packed and protected in an eco-friendly, recycled kraft card earring box that is made by a UK-based company that recycles UK and EU paper/card.
