Proseprints is keen to be green, our printed greeting cards are on recycled paper, with bio-degradable cellos, we use paper based packaging and are introducing non-plastic packaging for protecting artwork. We also support a local conservation charity, donating money from the sales of our cards and artwork.
For me the Great Crested Newt’s is one of my favourite amphibians and I remember seeing them in my garden as a child and in local wildlife ponds. Beautifully colourful and very dragon like with its crested back. It is a protected species whose numbers have reduced significantly due to loss of habitat.
We have linked up with a local environmental charity - Torrington Commons Conservators - and donate £5 from the sale of every print.

Full description
Dancing Dragon depicts a Great Crested Newt. It is a hand painted monoprint from a lino block and printed on a hand press with finishing details in water based drawing inks. The background is in green and yellow and the newt is multi-coloured with a purple crest and a warm orange and yellow belly.
It is signed and titled in pencil by the artist.
The print is supplied in a textured cream mount.
It is a variable edition; every hand painted print is unique.
Mount size: to fit a frame measuring 8 by 8 inches.
Printed on Fabriano paper using water based inks.
Colour fixed using a water based craft spray.
The colour may vary slightly from the image.
Proseprints retain all reproduction rights and copyrights.
