Full description
This unique handmade necklace is made with a unusual half marble piece of sea glass. Its a stunning milky white and bright turquoise streaked hue, and a more uncommon colour to find whilst beach combing, and even more exciting that its half a little glass marble! It has been asymmetrically and securely set with a time consuming and unique delicate weaved wire wrap. The wire I use is surgical stainless steel wire, a magical durable metal that is both suitable for people with metal allergies and also DOESN'T rust or tarnish!
A complete one off piece of sea glass jewellery that has been designed to be loved forever.
Rarity – Rare, marble and beautiful uncommon hue of glass.
Size – Necklace is 18 inches long. Sea glass is approx 20mm at widest point. See photo of me wearing for size!
What is Sea glass?
I use genuine sea glass or pottery that has been collected from the beautiful beaches of Cornwall in the UK. Many of my pieces are found where an old harbour was once a bustling centre of trade. Old Victorian plates and glassware, are recycled by nature, and sharp shards are polished by the tide beating against the sand.
