This shop only sells in the UK. I print cards onto a sustainable English acid free, archival watercolour paper, prepared for digital print on both sides, so I can print a custom greeting inside; although cards are blank inside unless you request printed text inside. They are packed in compostable clear bags. Prints are on digital fine art papers. I specialise in hand sewing silk and natural fibres for apparel. I often re-use packaging to send you your orders.

If you want a product which is listed as unavailable or sold out, or you want to order more cards or prints than are listed in stock, please click on Contact above this announcement to send me a message and I will let you know if it is still in stock and/or if I can make more. I can usually make more cards quickly, up to 20 in a few days. For larger quantities I will let you know how soon I can make them for you.

Please contact me if you want a postage upgrade or if you need products sent quickly.

This is one of a series of 7 miniature fragmented flower pictures which are derived from the pencil and oil pastels Blue Iris, Holly with Berries, Kerria, Pastel Bluebells, Pastel Columbine, Pastel Rose, Pink Mums, that were in my exhibition Pieces of Flora on the Big White Wall in Tunbridge Wells Library in 2010. The wall was free standing so people could walk all the way round it. On one side of the wall I showcased the 7 oil pastel botanical pictures which are also in my Folksy shop. For the other side of the wall I created 7 miniatures by digitally cutting out a small piece from each scanned A4 flower picture, then played around with it on the computer to fragment it. I then printed them myself using Epson inks onto a fine art paper made from 90% Bamboo fibre and 10% cotton rag. I then embellished each original print by hand with colour pencils.

Full description

Fragmented Pastel Columbine is an image that I cut out on the computer from a scan of one of my original oil pastel and pencil pictures "Pastel Columbine". The original sketch of these fairy like flowers was drawn from life. I developed the sketch, made an oil pastel and pencil drawing of it and then scanned it for prints and cards. This picture is just a small cut out part of the original drawing.

The hand finished prints measure 8 x 10.5 cm printed onto Hahnemuehle 90% bamboo fibre and 10% cotton rag fine art paper which I embellished with colour pencils. The off-white distressed look wooden frames 155 x 204 mm (6 x 8 in) into the rebate of the frame which has perspex glazing and the image is surrounded by an off-white mount.

There are NO giclee prints of this image, the only reproductions will be A6 cards - message me for details.

£135 for one framed original or £900 for set of 7 miniature framed prints - see separate listing.
