Inspired by the patterns used on pysanky - Ukrainian decorated eggs. The traditional symbols that are used to represent things like the moon, stars, pine trees and mountains on the eggs, have been used here over the matching images.

Full description
A night scene of a mountain landscape, with a bright full moon shining over a lake in a clear, starry sky, and pine trees stood on the shore with a mountain range in the distance. Simple geometric patterns have been painted over the scene, the symbols representing the features that they are painted over.
This original artwork is painted in acrylics on a 20cm square canvas with 3.8cm deep edges (8" square with 1.5" edges) The image carries on over the edges of the canvas so there is no need for framing, and a string is attached to the back so it is ready to hang.
The canvas will be packaged with bubblewrap and cardboard to prevent any damage during shipping, and will be sent signed for.
