Full description
This is a small painting of a section of dry stone wall in West Cornwall. The body of the picture is in watercolour and ink pen, but salt has been added to create a sense of texture.
Dry stone walls are amazing. They have stood for centuries without cement or mortar to bind them. The years of weathering and creeping vegetation have produced some beautiful and colourful structures.
The painting is produced on 300 gsm watercolour NOT paper, with Winsor and Newton artist grade watercolour paint.
The dimensions of the painting are approximately 240 mm x 170 mm / 9" x 6.5" and supplied UNMOUNTED and UNFRAMED.
The painting will be mailed in a strengthened cardboard envelope by first class delivery.
