Hello! I’m Chris, a Plymouth based artist, creating original and atmospheric landscape paintings, mostly inspired by Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall. I love to make smaller, unique, affordable artwork that will enhance any space.
I am inspired by the landscapes that are important to me and are perhaps important to you.
I harbour an increasing curiosity about the places the tourists don’t always see – the urban, the semi industrial, the residential. I am also intrigued by theatre, cinema, old photographs and vintage postcards. These influences sometimes creep into my work. I mainly produce paintings in watercolour and/or gouache, but also work in monoprint, charcoal, acrylic and mixed media.
My work is produced in my studio space at home, shared with my husband Andy.
I’m pleased that my art has sold throughout Britain and beyond, hopefully providing a memento of a much loved place or experience.
I am always keen to consolidate and expand my practice. I am pleased to have achieved a BA (Hons) in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking from Arts University Plymouth in 2024.
I sell mostly online but I also sell at local fairs and from time to time, in local galleries and retailers.

Such a lovely card - it was perfect for my Dad who isn't really into sports but LOVES steam engines! He loved it! Packaged really well and had a lovely note from the seller too!
