I'm Chris. I'm an artist living in beautiful Cornwall.
I am greatly inspired by my local area in south east Cornwall. I am becoming increasingly curious about the bits the tourists don't always see - the urban, the semi industrial, the residential. I am intrigued as to how people have shaped Cornwall, the countryside and the world in general.
My art is also influenced by cinema, theatre, vintage photographs and postcards.
I am always keen to consolidate and expand my practice. I am a member of a local art group and am currently working towards a BA (Hons) degree in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking at Arts University Plymouth. I am a volunteer with Awenek Studio, a wonderful community arts group, offering art activities and workshops to people in south east Cornwall.
I sell mostly online and Folksy has proven to be a great shop window for my work. I also sell at local fairs and from time to time, in local galleries and retailers.

I work mainly in watercolour but frequently experiment with other media. My work is usually mailed unframed and unmounted to reduce delivery costs, but mount options are available on some paintings. Please note watercolour and gouache paintings are best displayed behind a glass or perspex fronted frame.
My work is produced in my studio space at home, shared with my husband Andy.
Original works over £25 in value are dispatched first class tracked d for delivery. All other items are sent by regular first class post. I aim to dispatch by next working day.

Such a lovely card - it was perfect for my Dad who isn't really into sports but LOVES steam engines! He loved it! Packaged really well and had a lovely note from the seller too!
