My whippet puppy, Hettie, can get a bit shivery at night & on her walks, so I started knitting her jumpers as soon as she arrived. The problem was that I couldn't find any patterns for a skinny little miss with such a long neck, so I've designed my own.
The early ones are now too short & being used as pyjamas, when the heating goes off at night, so I keep having to add to her wardrobe.
This one is particularly smart, it makes her look a bit like an armadillo, so I've knitted another one to sell in aid of the local greyhound charity so Hettie doesn't feel that she's the only armadillo out there!

Full description
A lovely cosy, puppy jumper, knitted to my own 'armadillo' design, especially for a whippet.
The jumper measures 18.5 inches from neck to tail, 10 inch neck opening and 18 inch chest. It should fit a whippet puppy between 3 and 6 months old (as they grow, it becomes shorter but can still be worn). Hand wash in cool water, just like any woollen jumper.
These jumpers are really good at keeping out the chill & securing a harness onto a wriggly puppy's slim neck.
It's so difficult to find coats & jumpers to fit a slender little body!
