Full description
This little pendant is especially for the winter season, with it's icy natural quartz briolette drop dangling from a sterling silver snowflake, highlighted with fine silver wires fused to the surface so it really sparkles. Clear quartz is part of the same family of stones as rose quartz and amethyst, but it is colourless and as clear as ice. Because it is a natural stone, it contains small inclusions and imperfections which make it shimmer in the light. The design of the snowflake within the circle is somewhat reminiscent of the flaming wheel of ancient British folklore, which symbolizes the returning sun following the winter solstice.
This pendant has been made by me entirely by hand and measures 30 mm in length and is suspended from a fine 450 mm sterling silver trace chain.
It is presented in a gift box tied with a satin bow, ready to give as a present if you choose!
