Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.

Inspired by Spring, my favourite season of the year. I just love the colours and new life that appears at this time of year, and the Cherry Blossom Tree, plays a huge part in this.
I have Hand Embroidered my design onto linen using a mix of DMC Embroidery threads, using a mix of stitches to create a textured detailed piece, and delicately finished with a felt backing and ribbon to hang.
The hoop is approximately 8" (21 cm)
I loved designing and creating this piece and I am sure it would make a wonderful addition to most homes.
The Hoop will be wrapped in tissue and Parcelled securely
