Full description

A selection of large eating spoons hand carved from poplar wood.

These are about 8 inches long with 2 inch bowls, a good size for cereals, desserts and general table use.

All have been handcarved in welsh grown poplar wood which succumbed to the storms several years ago and has been waiting for me to get around to using. Hence they were well seasoned.

The shape is inspired by the traditional scandinavian pattern with some incised design added to brighten them up.

All spoons have been given multiple coats of hot culinary linseed oil which has enhanced the grain and accented the unique tool marks made during the carving process.

Price given is per spoon. Five are available and I shall send these out by random selection, If you need more please send me a message and I shall get busy.

The postage price is for the first spoon - any additional spoons will be included in that and therefore postage free.
